and in the Keukenhof Gardens, May 2018

Keukenhof is one of the world’s largest flower gardens, situated in Lisse, South Holland, Netherlands. According to the official website for the Keukenhof Park, approximately 7 million flower bulbs are planted annually in the park, which covers an area of 32 hectares (79 acres).[1][2]

I spent some time in the gardens (how could I not?) while in the Netherlands in May.

Keukenhof is open annually for only 8 weeks, from mid-March to mid-May, and we made it on the next to the last day.
So, we got to see a lot of the late blooming tulips and more…

Lots of tulips still showing off. Many that we are not selling in this year’s bulbsale, some that are. I am including some of my pictures so you can see the gardens and get ideas for color combinations!
