Keukenhof is one of the world’s largest flower gardens, situated in Lisse, South Holland, Netherlands. According to the official website for the Keukenhof Park, approximately 7 million flower bulbs are planted annually in the park, which covers an area of 32 hectares (79 acres).
I spent some time in the gardens (how could I not?) while in the Netherlands in May.
Keukenhof is open annually for only 8 weeks, from mid-March to mid-May, and we made it on the next to the last day.
So, we got to see a lot of the late blooming tulips and more…
Lots of tulips still showing off. Many that we are not selling in this year’s bulbsale, some that are. I am including some of my pictures so you can see the gardens and get ideas for color combinations!
